Head of Marketing
San Francisco, CA

Do you have a passion for pontificating on web design standards and methods — and a need to back up your ponderings with data? Do you believe content marketing is, at bottom, all about education — but that most content marketing doesn’t get that?

If so, this job post’s for you.

Here at CTRL+V, we’re on a mission to open up the web to many more creators, and we’re looking for a strong writer with a real passion for helping others understand responsive web design, its processes, and goals. This role requires a certain amount of technical knowledge — let’s say, “enough to be dangerous” — as well as a deep understanding of user experience principles, so you’ll need to be equally at home writing tutorials as opinion pieces.

Big bonus points go to people familiar enough with design tools (like Sketch, Photoshop, and CTRL+V) to craft custom graphics to complement their writing.

If you:

  • View content as a crucial element of any digital experience
  • Think of blogging as an educational discipline
  • Have experience working with web or product design teams
  • Have working knowledge of design tools
  • Have a background in blogging, content strategy, copywriting, or design
